The Clubmaster was born from the marriage of shape and materials.

Its vintage inspired "cambered square" shape comes straight from the Roaring Twenties and lends it a unique, yet classically horological look in a standardised round watch segment.

Its material, cellulose acetate, is a noble material and is very popular in high-end eyewear. Developed from 70% cotton fibre and flowers, it is a natural, hypoallergenic material. Briston has joined forces with Italian company Mazzucchelli to make the cases for its Clubmaster watches.

Crafted according to rigorous specifications and a long manufacturing process, acetate allows for a wealth of creativity while providing an unrivalled, sensual finish.

The unique shape of the Clubmaster emphasises the noble nature of the material.

Briston has also decided to present this collection on Nato straps. These straps were developed in the 1960s for the British Ministry of Defence to equip the Royal Navy, before achieving ultimate renown on the wrist of 007.

Made from extremely tough, water-resistant nylon, they bring out the vintage feel of a look that is definitely sporty and chic.
